The 7-speed DCT is the recurring topic
Chery fits a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission across much of the Tiggo range. In hot, dusty markets and in stop-and-go traffic it is the component buyers ask about most, and the failure pattern is consistent: judder at low speed, hesitation when pulling away, and eventually a gearbox that drops into limp mode.
The fix is usually the clutch pack and the mechatronic unit, replaced together. Replacing one without the other is what produces a second failure within a year, and it is the single most common quality argument in this brand. We supply both, and we quote them as a set by default.
Export specification versus domestic
Chery sells the same nameplate with different engines and emissions hardware depending on the market. A Tiggo 7 Pro sold in Brazil does not always share its engine management, its catalytic converter or its oxygen sensors with the Chinese domestic car. Ordering against the domestic part number is the most common source of wrong parts in this brand.

Largely, but the Pro update changed lighting, front body panels and some suspension components. We confirm against the VIN rather than the name.
Do you cover Omoda and Exeed? +
Omoda 5 is well covered, including body and lighting. Exeed coverage is narrower and depends on the model; send the VIN and we will confirm what is available before quoting.
Can you supply parts for right-hand-drive Chery models? +
Yes for the markets where Chery sells RHD — South Africa, Australia, parts of Southeast Asia and South Asia. Lighting and steering parts differ, and we quote the RHD variant explicitly.
What is the lead time on Chery body panels? +
