Lighting & Electrical Parts
Headlamps · Lamps · Alternators · Sensors · Modules
XYQC supplies headlamp assemblies, tail lamps, fog lamps, mirror indicators, alternators, starter motors, ignition components, sensors, body control modules and wiring harness sections for Chinese-brand vehicles. Both halogen and LED assemblies are available, with the correct beam pattern and E-mark where the part is sold into Europe. Electrical parts are tested before packing and shipped with a test record.
What we supply
Lighting is the highest-return category in the aftermarket and the one where a wrong beam pattern causes the most trouble at customs and at inspection. An LED headlamp built for a left-hand-drive market will fail a roadworthiness test in a right-hand-drive one, and the difference is in the projector shield, not the housing.

Left-hand drive and right-hand drive
This is the single most important question for a lighting order. A headlamp moulded for LHD throws the beam up to the right; an RHD lamp throws it up to the left. The housings look identical on the shelf and the connectors are the same, so the error is only found at inspection.
Markets we ship to regularly include RHD destinations — the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Caribbean. We ask for the destination market on every lighting enquiry and quote the correct variant by default rather than as an option.
| Market type | Beam pattern | Marking | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| LHD | Rises to the right | ECE or DOT as applicable | EU, Middle East, Africa (most), Latin America, Russia |
| RHD | Rises to the left | ECE with RHD approval | UK, Ireland, Southern Africa, Australia, NZ, SEA, South Asia |
| Neutral / adjustable | Flat cut-off or switchable | Varies | Some commercial vehicles |
Electrical parts and the immobiliser problem
Modern Chinese vehicles pair the ECU, the body control module and the key through the immobiliser. A replacement ECU bought as a bare unit will not start the car; it must be coded to the vehicle, and some units arrive locked to the donor VIN.
We supply ECUs in three states: virgin (uncoded, ready to be programmed), VIN-matched (coded to the VIN you provide, requires the vehicle to be present at programming), and tested-used. We tell you which state each unit is in before you buy, because a workshop expecting a plug-and-play unit and receiving a virgin one will be stuck.
Testing and MOQ
Every alternator and starter is bench-tested before packing and ships with a test slip showing output voltage or cranking current. Lamp assemblies are checked for moisture ingress — the failure mode that shows up six weeks after installation in a wet climate — and packed with a desiccant sachet.
| Item | MOQ | Lead time | Packing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Headlamp assemblies | 10 pairs | 15–25 days | Foam-lined box, desiccant |
| Tail lamps and fog lamps | 20 pcs | 10–20 days | Individual box |
| Alternators and starters | 10 pcs | 15–25 days | Foam pack, test slip |
| Sensors | 50 pcs | 3–10 days | Bag and carton |
| ECUs and modules | 5 pcs | 15–30 days | Anti-static bag, foam |
Lighting & Electrical — questions buyers ask
Do you supply right-hand-drive headlamps? +
Yes. Tell us the destination market on the enquiry and we quote the RHD beam pattern by default for the UK, Ireland, Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Caribbean.
Are your LED headlamps road legal in Europe? +
The assemblies we list for the European market carry the relevant E-mark and the correct cut-off. LED retrofit bulbs dropped into a halogen housing are not road legal in most of Europe and we do not recommend them for road use.
Will a replacement ECU need programming? +
Almost always. We supply virgin units ready for programming, VIN-matched units, or tested-used units, and we state which state each unit is in. A virgin ECU needs dealer-level equipment or a specialist with the right software.
Do the lamps fog up after fitting? +
A correctly sealed assembly does not. Moisture ingress usually comes from a damaged breather or a housing that was sealed after a repair. We ship with desiccant and check seals before packing, and we replace any unit that fogs within six months.
Can you supply a wiring harness for a specific model? +
Sections of harness are available — engine, dashboard, door and rear body — for the high-volume models. Complete harnesses are expensive and model-year specific, so we confirm the VIN before quoting.
Brand coverage
Lighting & Electrical are stocked or sourced for the following brands. Coverage is deeper on the volume export models; send a VIN for anything outside them.
