OEM & ODM Auto Parts Service

Private label · Customer part numbers · Kit assembly · Branded catalogues

XYQC runs private-label auto parts programmes for distributors, parts platforms and repair chains. That covers branded packaging, your own part numbers on the label, kit assembly under one number, barcode and catalogue data, and colour or material changes where the mould allows. Minimum is usually 300 pieces per SKU for packaging and 500 for a tooling change; the first run adds four to six weeks for artwork and print plates.

What can be private-labelled

Almost anything in the catalogue that is packed in a box can carry your brand. What changes is the depth of the change: a printed carton and a label is straightforward; a change to the product itself needs tooling, and tooling needs volume to make sense.

Part numbers and catalogue data

Your part numbers can be printed on the label, the carton and the packing list, and cross-referenced to the OEM number in the barcode data. That matters more than it sounds: a distributor whose label does not carry the OEM number gets a phone call every time a workshop cannot match the part.

We supply product data in a spreadsheet for your catalogue or webshop — description, OEM cross-reference, dimensions, weight, barcode, HS code and a photograph. It is the same data we use internally, so it stays consistent with what ships.

What we will not do

We do not print another manufacturer logo on a product or a box. Branded parts are for distributors selling their own brand; they are not a route to counterfeit branded goods, and a buyer who asks for that is declined.

We also will not label a part as OEM when it is aftermarket, or as new when it is remanufactured. The grade is stated on the invoice and on the carton. Getting that wrong at customs is a seizure, and getting it wrong at a workshop is a warranty claim.

How a programme starts

Send the part list with quantities and the brand you want on the box. We come back with a cost per SKU at three volume bands, an artwork template and a production schedule. The first run is approved on a pre-production sample, photographed from four angles, before the print plates are cut.

  1. 1

    Part list and volumes

A spreadsheet of OEM numbers and annual quantities. Three bands is enough — it shows where the volume sits.

  2. 2

    Cost and artwork

Per-SKU cost at each band, plus a dieline template for your designer.

  3. 3

    Sample approval

A pre-production sample with your label, photographed before the run.

  4. 4

    Production and shipping

Run, inspection, then consolidation with your other categories.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for private label? +

About 300 pieces per SKU for branded packaging, and 500 for a product change such as a different connector or colour. Label-only changes start at 100 pieces.

Can you print our part numbers on the packaging? +

Yes, and we recommend keeping the OEM number on the label too. A label that carries only a distributor number causes a phone call every time a workshop tries to match the part.

How long does the first private-label run take? +

About four to six weeks from artwork approval, of which one to two weeks is print plates and the rest is production. Repeat runs are faster because the plates exist.

Do you provide product data for our webshop? +

Yes — a spreadsheet with description, OEM cross-reference, dimensions, weight, barcode, HS code and a photograph, for every SKU in the programme.

Can you assemble kits under one part number? +

Yes. Brake kits, timing kits, front-end rebuild kits and service kits are the usual requests. Kits are packed to a parts list that ships with the carton so the workshop can check contents without opening every bag.
