Braking System Parts
Pads · Discs · Calipers · Hydraulics · ABS sensors
XYQC supplies brake pads, brake discs, calipers, master and wheel cylinders, brake hoses, ABS sensors and complete front and rear axle kits for Chinese-brand vehicles. Pad formulations are available in ceramic, semi-metallic and low-metallic compounds, with ECE R90 documentation on request for European buyers. Minimum order is 20 sets per part number, and pads and discs can be packed as a matched axle kit.
What we supply
Braking is the category where documentation matters as much as the part. For the EU, pads sold for road use must carry ECE R90 approval; for the US, the relevant reference is FMVSS 135 for the vehicle rather than the pad, but buyers still ask for friction coefficient data. We supply the test reports with the quotation rather than after the order.

Choosing a pad compound
The same part number can be built with three different friction compounds, and the compound decides dust, noise, rotor wear and cold bite. Buyers in dry, hot markets and buyers in wet, cold markets should not be ordering the same pad.
| Compound | Friction coefficient | Dust | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ceramic | 0.38–0.42 | Low | Daily drivers, premium segments | Quietest; needs heat to reach full bite; kinder to rotors |
| Semi-metallic | 0.42–0.48 | Medium | Hot climates, heavier SUVs | Strong fade resistance; more rotor wear |
| Low-metallic | 0.40–0.45 | Medium-high | Cost-sensitive volume | Cheapest; noisiest when cold |
| NAO (non-asbestos organic) | 0.35–0.40 | Low | Light vehicles, rear axle | Gentle on rotors; not for repeated hard braking |
Compliance paperwork
For European importers we supply the ECE R90 approval number, the friction coefficient test report and the material declaration. For markets that follow Gulf or ASEAN standards, we supply the equivalent national test report where one exists. If a buyer needs a specific document we do not hold, we say so before the order rather than after.
Brake pads contain no asbestos in any formulation we ship. That declaration is on the invoice for every order, because customs in several markets ask for it.
MOQ, packing and lead time
Pads ship in axle sets — four pads per box with fitting hardware and a sachet of grease. Discs ship in individual boxes with a rust-preventive bag. Matched axle kits (pads plus discs) are packed as one carton with a single barcode so a warehouse can pick them without opening anything.
| Item | MOQ | Lead time | Packing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brake pads (stock compounds) | 20 sets | 3–7 days | Axle-set box with hardware |
| Brake discs | 20 pcs | 10–20 days | Individual box, VCI bag |
| Matched axle kit (pads + discs) | 20 kits | 15–25 days | Single carton, one barcode |
| Calipers | 10 pcs | 15–25 days | Foam-packed, port caps fitted |
| ABS sensors | 50 pcs | 3–10 days | Bag and carton |
Braking System — questions buyers ask
Do your brake pads have ECE R90 approval? +
Yes, for the part numbers we list as European-market items. The approval number and the friction test report are sent with the quotation on request. Pads intended only for markets without a regulation are supplied without R90 and are priced lower.
What is the difference between your ceramic and semi-metallic pads? +
Ceramic pads run quieter and produce less dust, but they need some heat before they bite fully, which is why some drivers find them soft on the first stop. Semi-metallic pads bite from cold and resist fade better under repeated hard braking, at the cost of more dust and faster rotor wear.
Are the discs coated against rust? +
The disc faces are not coated — a coating on the friction surface would have to burn off. The hat and the edges are geometrically coated so the disc does not rust in storage or on the shelf. That is what makes a container of discs arrive looking saleable.
Can you supply pads and discs as one kit? +
Yes. Matched axle kits are packed as a single carton with one barcode, which saves warehouse picking time and prevents the common mismatch where a customer buys pads for one axle and discs for the other.
Do you supply remanufactured calipers? +
Yes, on a core-exchange basis, mainly for European and Korean-platform models where a new caliper is expensive. Chinese-brand calipers are usually cheaper new than remanufactured, so we quote new unless the buyer asks otherwise.
