Suspension & Steering Parts
Shocks · Arms · Joints · Racks · Bushings
XYQC exports shock absorbers, strut assemblies, control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, stabiliser links, wheel hub bearings, steering racks and the full bushing range for Chinese-brand cars and SUVs. Parts are matched by OEM number or VIN, and we can supply complete front-end rebuild kits for workshops that prefer one part number per vehicle. Minimum order is 20 pieces per part number.
What we supply
Chinese-brand SUVs are heavy for their class and are driven on roads that are not always sealed, so the suspension is the first system to show wear in many export markets. The volume items are stabiliser links, ball joints and lower control arm bushings — small, cheap, and ordered in hundreds once a distributor has a workshop customer base.

Why the same part number can still be wrong
Chinese manufacturers run frequent running changes. A control arm for a 2021 model year car can differ from the 2022 car in the ball joint taper angle, and the part number in the aftermarket catalogue does not always reflect it. Two checks prevent most of these returns.
- 1
VIN, not model name
The VIN carries the production plant and the build period. Two cars with the same nameplate can be built to different specifications for different export markets.
- 2
Measure the joint
For ball joints and tie rod ends we ask for the taper diameter and the thread pitch when the buyer has the old part in hand. It takes two minutes and removes the guesswork.
Shock absorber valving
Shock absorbers are valved for a vehicle and a load. A shock sold for a five-seat SUV will be under-valved on a seven-seat variant loaded with passengers, and over-valved on an empty pick-up. We stock both comfort and heavy-duty valving for the models where the difference matters, and label the carton so a warehouse cannot mix them.
| Valving | Ride | Load capacity | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Comfort (OEM) | Soft, close to factory | Standard | Passenger cars, city SUVs |
| Heavy-duty | Firmer, controlled | +20–30% | Loaded SUVs, pick-ups, taxi fleets |
| Gas-charged monotube | Firm, resistant to fade | +20% | Hot climates, long-distance use |
MOQ, packing and lead time
Shock absorbers ship in pairs, compressed and strapped, in a printed carton. Control arms ship with the ball joint boot protected by a cap — a torn boot in transit is the most common reason a new arm fails within a year. Complete strut assemblies are the bulkiest item in this category and drive the container loading plan.
| Item | MOQ | Lead time | Packing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stabiliser links, bushings, ball joints | 50 pcs | 3–7 days | Bag and carton, boot caps |
| Shock absorbers | 20 pcs (10 pairs) | 15–25 days | Pair carton, compressed |
| Control arms | 20 pcs | 15–25 days | Individual box, boot cap |
| Complete strut assemblies | 10 pcs | 25–35 days | Heavy carton, spring retained |
| Steering racks | 10 pcs | 20–30 days | Foam pack, port plugs |
Suspension & Steering — questions buyers ask
Do you sell complete strut assemblies or just the shock? +
Both. The bare shock is cheaper and is what a workshop with a spring compressor prefers. The complete assembly — spring, mount, bearing and shock pre-assembled — costs more but removes labour and is popular with distributors selling to general repair shops.
How long should Chinese-brand suspension parts last? +
On sealed roads, 60,000–80,000 km for shocks and 40,000–60,000 km for stabiliser links and bushings is typical for premium aftermarket grade. On unsealed roads, expect roughly half. Buyers in markets with poor road quality should order the heavy-duty valving and the reinforced bushing option.
Are your wheel hubs supplied with the ABS sensor? +
Most are, and we state it per part number. A hub without the sensor means the buyer reuses an old sensor, which is a common cause of a recurring ABS light after a hub replacement.
Can you supply a full front-end rebuild kit for one model? +
Yes. For the high-volume models we can pack one carton containing both lower arms, both ball joints, both tie rod ends, both stabiliser links and the bushings, under a single kit part number. It simplifies ordering for workshops and reduces picking errors.
Do you supply remanufactured steering racks? +
Yes, on a core-exchange basis. Electric power steering racks are usually supplied as tested used or remanufactured units because new ones are expensive; hydraulic racks are available new.
