MG Spare Parts — Wholesale Supply

MG ZS · MG HS · MG3 · MG5 · MG4 · Marvel R

XYQC supplies spare parts for MG vehicles built by SAIC: MG ZS, MG HS, MG3, MG5, MG6, MG4 (Mulan), Marvel R and the MG5 EV. The range covers brake and suspension parts, engine service items, clutch kits, body panels, lighting, cooling and EV components. MG is the Chinese brand with the deepest European presence, so a large share of our MG volume ships into the EU and UK and is quoted against European specification and approval requirements.

Model lists follow the export name where one exists. Coverage is deeper on the volume export models — send a VIN for anything outside this table.

European specification is the default

MG sells heavily in the UK and the EU, and those cars differ from the Chinese domestic versions in lighting approval, emissions hardware and, on some models, brake specification. A part that is correct for a domestic ZS may fail an MOT or an EU roadworthiness inspection.

For MG we quote to the European specification by default and note where a domestic part would be acceptable. Brake pads carry ECE R90 documentation, and lighting is supplied with the correct E-mark and beam pattern for the destination.

The MG ZS aftermarket

The ZS is the highest-volume MG in most export markets and therefore the model with the deepest aftermarket. Brake pads, control arms, stabiliser links, wheel bearings and lamps are all available at competitive prices, and quality between suppliers varies widely.

The failures that matter on a ZS are front control arm bushings, front wheel bearings and, on early cars, the steering column. Buyers should ask for the reinforced bushing option where it exists, because the standard one does not last on poor roads.

MG4 and the EV range

MG4 runs on the SAIC MSP platform and is the model most likely to appear in an independent workshop outside China. Mechanical parts — brakes, suspension, bearings — are straightforward. High-voltage parts are platform-specific and, as with every EV, the on-board charger and inverter need coding.

Charging port assemblies and actuators are the most requested EV-specific part after brakes, because a damaged port takes the car off the road immediately.

MG parts — questions buyers ask

Are your MG parts to European specification? +

By default, yes, for the models sold in the UK and EU. We supply ECE R90 brake pads and correctly marked lighting, and we flag where a domestic-specification part would differ.

Do you supply MG ZS EV parts? +

Yes: brakes, suspension, bearings, charging port assemblies and thermal components. Power electronics are available but need coding, and we state that on the quotation.

Is MG ZS the same as Roewe RX3? +

They share the SAIC platform and many mechanical parts, but body panels, lighting and trim differ. We quote against the MG part number rather than assuming interchangeability.

Can you supply parts for right-hand-drive MG models? +

Yes, and for MG it matters. The UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and several Southeast Asian markets are RHD. Steering and lighting parts differ from LHD, and we quote the RHD variant.

What is the most commonly ordered MG part? +

Front brake pads and front control arms on the ZS, followed by wheel bearings and stabiliser links. On the HS it is brake discs and suspension links.

The VIN settles the model year, the plant and the export build. Send it with the parts you need and the reply includes grade options and lead time.
