EV & Hybrid Components
Charging · Battery · Motor · Thermal · High voltage
XYQC supplies components for Chinese electric and hybrid vehicles: charging port assemblies, on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, high-voltage cables, battery cooling plates, motor mounts, reduction gear parts, PTC heaters and body electrical parts specific to EV platforms. Lithium battery cells and complete packs are shipped only with UN38.3 test summaries and Class 9 dangerous-goods documentation, and only by sea to markets that accept them.
What we supply
The EV aftermarket is younger than the petrol aftermarket and the supply chain is narrower: many components are only made by the tier-one supplier that built the platform. That limits the range, and it makes honest sourcing more valuable than a long catalogue. Where we cannot supply a part, we say so.

Shipping batteries and high-voltage parts
Lithium cells and packs are Class 9 dangerous goods. They cannot fly on a normal cargo service, they need UN38.3 test summaries and a dangerous-goods declaration, and several markets restrict used packs outright. We quote these only with the paperwork attached, and we will decline an order that cannot be documented.
| Item | Transport | Documentation | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Complete battery pack | Sea only | UN38.3, MSDS, DG declaration, Class 9 | Restricted in several markets; check before quoting |
| Battery modules | Sea only | UN38.3, MSDS, DG declaration | State of charge limited for transport |
| High-voltage cables | Air or sea | Non-hazardous declaration | Must be capped and labelled |
| Charging ports and electronics | Air or sea | Standard commercial invoice | No DG paperwork needed |
What is realistic to buy aftermarket
Mechanical EV parts — mounts, cooling plates, bearings, suspension and brake components — behave like their petrol equivalents and are straightforward to supply. Electronics are harder: the on-board charger and the inverter are usually paired to the vehicle, and a replacement needs coding.
Our advice to a distributor entering this category is to start with the mechanical and thermal parts, which fail on age and mileage in the same way petrol parts do, and to treat power electronics as a special order with the VIN confirmed and the coding requirement explained to the customer in advance.
MOQ and lead time
EV component volumes are lower than petrol parts, so minimums are set lower and lead times are longer. Battery-related items require a longer booking window because of the dangerous-goods handling.
| Item | MOQ | Lead time | Packing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Charging ports and actuators | 10 pcs | 20–30 days | Anti-static, port caps |
| DC-DC and OBC modules | 5 pcs | 25–35 days | Anti-static, foam |
| Cooling plates and thermal parts | 20 pcs | 20–30 days | Edge protection |
| Motor mounts and drive unit parts | 20 pcs | 20–30 days | Bag and carton |
| Battery modules | On request | 35–50 days | UN-certified packaging |
EV & Hybrid Components — questions buyers ask
Can you ship a complete EV battery pack? +
Only by sea, only with UN38.3 test summaries, an MSDS and a Class 9 dangerous-goods declaration, and only to markets that accept used or aftermarket packs. Several countries restrict them outright. We will tell you before you order whether your destination is workable.
Do you supply refurbished battery modules? +
For some BYD and MG models, yes, with a capacity test report per module. Refurbished modules are for repair and stationary applications; we do not present them as equivalent to a new pack.
Is the on-board charger plug-and-play? +
No. The OBC is paired to the vehicle in most Chinese EV platforms and needs coding after replacement. We state the coding requirement on the quotation so the workshop can plan for it.
Which EV parts do you recommend for a first order? +
Mechanical and thermal parts: motor mounts, cooling plates, coolant pumps, brake and suspension components shared with the petrol platform. They fail predictably and do not need coding. Power electronics are better treated as special orders.
Do you supply Type 2 charging ports for the European market? +
Yes. Chinese domestic cars use GB/T; export versions for Europe use Type 2 for AC and CCS2 for DC. Specify the market and we quote the correct standard rather than the domestic one.
Brand coverage
EV & Hybrid Components are stocked or sourced for the following brands. Coverage is deeper on the volume export models; send a VIN for anything outside them.
